The Cottage Playhouse is handcrafted in our Derbyshire workshop from high-quality treated timber, creating a strong and characterful garden playhouse designed for years of imaginative play.

Its traditional cottage-style design includes a covered front veranda supported by substantial timber posts, decorative Georgian glazing, a fitted timber door with black ironmongery and an opening side window. The chunky fascia boards, log-lap cladding and neatly finished roof give the playhouse a more substantial, premium appearance than a typical mass-produced garden playhouse.

Built using 19mm timber cladding, 47 × 32mm wall framing, an 18mm timber floor and an 18mm boarded roof, the Cottage Playhouse has been designed with strength and durability in mind. The windows use 5mm clear Perspex glazing, securely retained with timber glazing beads. This makes individual panes easier to access and replace should they ever become damaged.

The playhouse is supplied as pre-made flat-pack panels for straightforward assembly. Pre-routed hinge positions, pre-drilled fixing points and accurately prepared components help make installation easier, with a full illustrated Countrymade installation guide included.

Optional Decorative Pack: Complete the cottage look with a matching timber window box, external window shelf with decorative brackets, and a cottage-style roof chimney.

Important sizing note

The 1560 × 1560mm base must be positioned on a firm, flat and level surface. Allow additional clearance for the roof overhang and sufficient working space around the building during assembly
